Welcome to Lime Dental, conveniently located at 160 Lime Ave, Mildura. This clinic was established originally in Langtree Avenue back in the 50s by Dr Des James. In 1981 Dr Andrew Swincer took over and continued servicing the people of Sunraysia until 2009. During this time the clinic was moved to its current location in Lime Avenue.
In 2009 the current owners Dr Paul Nakhla and Dr Rachael Charles commenced their practice here. Our aim has always been to provide the best dental treatment options available with a full range of treatment available. We understand that each patient is an individual with different circumstances and needs, and we tailor your treatment to suit you and your needs. Here, our professionals know that dental health is not just about white smiles: it’s about having strong teeth and healthy gums. It’s about prolonging the simple joy of eating delicious things! Our mission is to help our patients accomplish these goals in a painless, compassionate, and efficient way.
We conveniently accept all private health fund cards and we can claim-on-the-day via our hicaps facility. We also accept the Medicare Children’s Dental Benefits Scheme (CDBS) vouchers.

sedation dentistry
We understand that dental treatment can instil significant fear and anxiety in some patients. Dental treatment in young children can also be frightening for the child. As a result, we offer treatment under happy gas sedation in a safe and comfortable environment.
aesthetic dentistry
We are living in a time where a beautiful white smile is more important, and sought after, than it has been at any time in the past. We are constantly learning and using the most modern materials and techniques which enable us, to create for you, a beautiful white smile. Whether its bleaching, veneers or crowns and bridges, we can customise a treatment to help you achieve your aesthetic goals.
children’s dentistry
We see and treat children of all ages. We aim to introduce children to dentistry in a very pleasant, friendly and comfortable environment so they will, hopefully, enjoy coming to see us and will set them up with the knowledge and ability to maintain a clean and healthy mouth. Prevention is the easiest (and cheapest) treatment.
implants
Implants have increased in popularity in the past 10 years and for good reason. They are the closest thing we have to individual tooth replacement but can also be used to replace multiple teeth. We can assess the site to see which option would be the most appropriate and discuss it with you. We have a network of specialists we work with to give you the best treatment available.
emergency treatment
There are times when teeth can produce significant pain, keeping you awake at night and in severe discomfort during the day. We offer same day appointments to those with significant dental pain which may include extractions, the commencement of root canal treatments or simply the prescribing of antibiotics to settle a painful tooth.
